Guest Blog from Christine Caine

To all of my beautiful, kind, generous PINK IMPACT sisters....

I really do not even know how to begin this email.  I am so overwhelmed by your passionate and generous hearts.  I am in a car in Kiev, Ukraine on the way to meet four girls rescued from human trafficking because of the work of the A21 Campaign.  I know I will be changed when I see and hug them and hear their stories.  These rescues have been made possible by sacrificial giving like the unbelievably...amazing...jaw dropping offering you gave at the conference a few weeks ago.

When Pastor Debbie told me what you ladies had sown, I was speechless (and let me tell you that is a miracle right up there with the resurrection of Jesus.)  I know that you carry this vision in your hearts and it is your partnership, prayer, strength and support that enables these girls to be plucked out of darkness and find hope and life.  On behalf of the A21 team, I want to thank you for hearing the cries and responding in a tangible way.

We have a lot of work ahead of us but I believe as we continue to join hands, hearts, resources and pray we will continue to see the captives set free.

BLESS YOU and thank you to Debbie and Jan.  Words cannot begin to express our gratitude.

Love you,

Christine Caine

Post Pink Impact

Pink Impact was birthed out of a desire to see God’s beautiful girls celebrated and remind us that we can impact our world.  You are incredibly gifted and there is no one like you.  No one else can impact your world like you.

Someone once explained to me that in landscaping, a single flower doesn’t make the same impact as a whole flower bed.  I have noticed that is so true.  Just recently I saw a whole field of blue bonnets.  I wondered how many other fields I had passed and had not noticed the equally beautiful yet single flower blooming in the field.

Collectively we are making an impact in the lives of victims of human trafficking.  At Pink Impact we gave generously.  I am so happy to report to you that we gave over  $116,000 dollars.  I am so proud of you.  I appreciate your hearts to see injustice stopped.  The cards you signed asking our congressmen to stop trafficking have been sent.  Collectively we are making a Pink Impact.

Pink Women Rock!  I love you beautiful ladies.

I know the Permission Granted study is solidifying what God did in your hearts.  I hope you will tell me how has God used it to adjust your mind set. What are you doing differently since you were reminded that permission was granted?

I hope you were there!

I hope you were at Pink Impact!

I have received emails, been stopped at church and followed your tweets and face book comments.  Many girls that have opened their hearts and shared about what God did in their lives.

My God touch happened on Tuesday night.  I still can’t verbalize what God did, but I feel like I got a big hug.  Beyond that, I don’t really know and certainly can’t pen it.   It was simply quite amazing!

I would love to hear what God did for you at Pink Impact.  Please take a moment and share with me about your own God touch.

I want to remind you that we have the Permission Granted study launching this week in small groups.  If you did not receive a copy of the study, you can pick one up at the church offices or download your own copy for free on the website, www.pinkimpact.com.  If you are not in a small group, then I hope you will find one for the next four weeks.  If that’s not possible, then utilize the study for your own personal devotions.  Remember Dr. Leaf taught us that it takes 21 days to make something a solid memory.

Also, we offered a special conference rate of $75 to register for Pink Impact 2011.   I want to extend that as an on-line offer for a few more weeks.  This is the lowest price we will offer for the conference.  Next year, we will add a day to our schedule and open on Wednesday.  We will also be in our new building which offers so many opportunities to improve the conference.  Trust me; you will be sad if you don’t make plans to attend now.  I hope you will go beyond that and purchase a ticket for a friend.  You can wait until next spring to decide who your friend will be.

Finally, I want to say Thank You!  Thank you Lord for breathing on our plans.  Thank you Chris Caine, Priscilla Shirer, Dr. Caroline Leaf, Jan Greenwood, Kari Jobe and Miriam Webster.  Thank you to my team that dreamed with me and worked so hard to make it a reality.  Thank you to all the volunteers to serve as unto the Lord.  You are all amazing!  I love you all.

Welcome all Pink women!

Opening day of Pink Impact is always so very exciting!

All of us wake up everyday and face the daily routine activities that have been planned for weeks in advance.  But few events we attend require a year's worth of planning!

A large team has been involved in making this conference all that it is for over a year.  Someone has been thinking about you for a year.  Someone has thought about how we could create the right stmosphere.  Someone has thought about what food you would like.  Someone has thought about the little details such as your name tag and a program book.  Someone has thought about what gift will prompt you to remember what God said to you.

You are special to someone.

While someone has been thinking about you for over a year, God has been thinking about you for...well..a very long time.  He thought about the weather, the situations you would encounter and His good desire for you today.  He has you on His mind.

I believe God has been thinking about encountering you.  He will use all the "someones" who thought about you to say "I love you."

Pink Impact 2010 Permission Granted promises to be an amazing, impacting encounter.  I have to give a big shout out to all of the someones who have been planning, praying and preparing for this week.  You are all amazing!

I pray you get a double dose of God hugs this week.

Love ya,

Debbie

Have you reserved your place?

Hello my beautiful Pink friends!

Do you realize that there is less than a week until Pink Impact? Have you reserved your place?

Every year, I look forward to Pink Impact with great anticipation. It’s not just that we invite great speakers to challenge and encourage us (but we do). It’s not just that we decorate all things girly (but we do). It’s not even that my friends come (but they do). It’s all of these things and more. It’s because God comes!

In the weeks following Pink Impact, I hear about how God touched lives at the conference. I love it when women share with me about what God did. I’m still getting emails from women sharing about what God did at Pink Impact two or three years ago!

The only thing that bums me out is when I hear that women aren’t coming. I know they’re going to miss out. I know they’re not going to be impacted (pun intended). If you haven’t signed up, I want to encourage you to re-evaluate whatever is keeping you away. Try to rearrange and do whatever is necessary to be a part of what promises to be an incredible moment.

I’m sure many of you have had your own God encounters at Pink Impact in years past. I am also confident new God moments will happen this year. Please make my day and tell me all about it.

Debbie
